Drivers
Qualifications:
Must be at least twenty three (23) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must have at least two (2) years of verifiable over-the-road tractor-trailer experience within the past five years or have one (1) year of verifiable over-the-road tractor-trailer experience within the past fifteen (15) months combined with a diploma from an accredited semi-truck driving school.
Must be able to supply all periods of employment and unemployment within the past three (3) years and all periods of commercial driving employment in the past seven (7) years previous to the three year period. Must supply company names, addresses, supervisors and telephone numbers for all jobs indicated.
Must not have more than a combination of three (3) moving violation citations and/or preventable vehicle accidents in any thirty six (36) month period. Must supply an accident report for any accident in the previous three (3) years. Motor vehicle accidents and MHV citations are considered regarding this requirement.
Must not have a DUI, DUID, or DWI conviction, probation, deferred adjudication, or still pending like case.
Must not have ever been convicted of a felony or drug or drug related offense in relation to the use of a Commercial Motor Vehicle.
Must have a stable employment record contingent with job changes and company closures.
Must be in good health and able to meet the minimum requirements for a D.O.T. physical examination and substance abuse screens.
Must meet company requirements and comply with company policies regarding the "Drug Free Workplace".
Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries and to make correct entries on required reports and records.
Must possess a current and valid Class "A" Commercial Driver License (CDL) with the Tank/Haz-Mat (X) endorsement issued in the state of residence.
