Base Compensation
Our contractor settlement package has been designed to reward drivers with varying rates based on length of haul. The basic compensation plan is as follows:
0-400 miles - $.94 per mile
In addition to the miles-weighted compensation plan, Marten provides an unmatched support package for contractors. Our total contractor settlement package includes an additional $.14 per mile* value and the leading fuel surcharge program in the industry. Special rates may apply for regional and dedicated positions.
Additional Payment Package
Reflects items that make up an equivalent of ten and a half cents per mile. Marten provides these services at no cost to the contractor, bringing the value of the total pay package to 96.1 cents*.
