Experience Level Starting Pay
3 months experience 30 cpm
9 months experience 32 cpm
1 year or more experience 34 cpm
Your mileage rate will progress with regular increases—up to 41 cpm! And accessorial pay, bonuses and benefits are in addition to your mileage rate.
Bonuses:
With our monthly fuel bonus, you can gain up to an extra 2 cpm, depending on your tractor’s idle time. And our million-mile bonus program rewards you for your safe miles with J.B. Hunt. Imagine receiving $5000 for your first million miles, $10,000 for two million, and an additional $20,000 for driving three million safe miles. Nothing is more important to J.B. Hunt than seeing you achieve success through safe driving, and we’ll put our money on it—just ask our drivers who have done it!
Benefits:

Equipment & Time Off:
J.B. Hunt drivers enjoy the road in a well-appointed Freightliner Century Class C-120 tractor including a 10-speed transmission, 70” raised-roof sleeper and Genesis interior package. Want to keep a permanently assigned tractor? You can! Just opt for permanent assignment—in some locations, you can be off for up to seven consecutive days and keep your truck. Or opt to maximize your time off, taking two days for every seven on the road, and get home every 14 days. The choice is yours!
Our OTR package was designed for complete driver satisfaction; and in addition to offering the best OTR job in the industry, we also a career path featuring Dedicated, Contracting and Leasing opportunities.
