Traveling Weather Maps and National, regional and local radars for all StatesTrucking On the Net provides the most in depth weather forecasts and current weather for the traveling public. Our goal is to make available the best weather products to our visitors. Using NOAA and NWS weather products, we simplify your search for the weather information you need. Whether you are a truck driver checking severe weather warnings across the country when you are routing your daily run, or a suburban soccer mom checking to see whether you will have nice weather for the weekend's games, we strive to keep you abreadst of the most up to date weather information. The most complete weather map is the third map, near the bottom of the page. This overlay map, contains all current warnings for the entire United States. To view weather information for your part of the Country, just click on that area and you will be taken to a reagional, State or local weather page. Also note the different maps available on the tabs located above the map, radar maps, sattelite images and a variety of other selections. By working closely with government agencies we are able to bring you the most current weather forecasting technology at no cost. NWS and NOAA provide the data, we take that information and bring it to you on one web page.. The National Weather Service serves all citizens in its mission to make weather information available, free of charge. Your tax dollars have already paid for the service, it would be wrong for Diesel Media and its sites to charge you for information you have already paid for. However, some companies see government entities as hurting the private sector by allowing this information to be distributed freely. Why would internet users pay for their weather, if they can get if for free? We at Diesel Media feel that the service that NWS and NOAA provides is too valuable to be made only available to premium service subscribers, such as those found on other sites. In the beginning our target audience was America's truckers and owner operators needing weather and road conditions. But as we have matured, our website began to attract the automotive traveling public and people wanting traveling weather information without all the fluff other sites were offering. Our weather map page is part of Diesel Media's effort to better serve our visitors searching for the best weather page and serving that page for free. Examine the National Map, on it you will see many options, click on any of these to explore this latest addition to NOAA's graphical weather. We will continue to work with the National Weather Service(NWS) and National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration to bring you the best in current weather and weather forecast. If you would like to see a map that is not included on our weather maps page, contact us at Weather Page email.
